Cozy, well-equipped home
5/5 The house was cozy, well-equipped, and as described, making it a great spot for me and my friend to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. While not a complaint, future renters with dogs should know the fence is broken down in some places and has a gap at the entrance gate where small dogs could potentially crawl under, especially if they spot a loose neighbor dog like ours did.
Upon arrival, we were unsure if we had the correct location as there was a car directly in front of us that turned into the driveway. After driving around for a bit we pulled in off to the side and spoke to a cleaning inspector who was still tidying the house. Check-in was slightly delayed until around 8 p.m., but overall, the house was clean, aside from some noticeable hair in the main bathroom. We were a little late checking out and had to come back for a pillow so the delay checking in was really countered by a our late checking out which no one complained about so this is mostly just fyi for the renter.
The property was great for our small dogs to run around, though we had to keep an eye out for a neighbor's chicken that occasionally wandered into the yard. Despite these minor issues, we were very happy with the rental—it’s a cozy spot with a well-stocked kitchen perfect for cooking full meals.

What a relaxing stay!
5/5 My dogs absolutely loved the backyard and not having to worry about them was so comforting, would highly recommend this home for a great stay in Southport.
