  Unfortunately the house was is poor condition overall, from outside to inside. The grass was high, weeds filled the mulch beds and the driveway. Inside I actually swept and mopped the entire house when I got there because there was visible dirt on the floor. In addition the bathroom was not cleaned (both the tub/shower and toilet), and I cleaned those as well. Maybe at one point the home was well kept and clean, but the shower and tub need work along with the refrigerator essentially should be replaced. I would not stay there again.

  - Our usual cleaner was unavailable, and unfortunately, the replacement did not meet our standards.
  - We've spoken with the cleaning crew to prevent this issue in the future and the cleaner will now notify us if unable to work for proper coverage.

  We enjoyed our stay as it was convenient to the activities we had planned in the area. The neighborhood was very quiet and safe. The home was comfortable and clean and we enjoyed being able to cook meals and relax there! So much better than a hotel! The host was very nice and responsive.

  We visit in Sanford North Carolina on a regular basis as we have kids and grandkids. We’ve stayed at this house multiple times, and have always been very pleased with its cleanliness and the ease of check in.

  We have stayed VRBO many times and this is one of our favorite locations

• Cute, cozy house but not fully cleaned

  The house is a 3 bedroom 2 bath house. The second bathroom is a half bath. The beds were pretty comfortable. The couch and chairs were pretty comfortable as well. There are two t.v.'s, one in the living room and the other in the bedroom with the King bed. The fridge had two broken drawers. Only 5 towels and one wash cloth to use for bathing. We did find some white towels under the main bathroom sink but they had some hairs in them. The only issue we had was the house was not fully cleaned. We did ask if we could check in early, if the house was ready. If not, then we would have just waited. They did let us check in early but we didn't realize that meant the cleaning would be rushed and not completed. If we had known that we would have waited. There were a lot of areas that were not wiped down. We found mold/mildew behind the ice and water dispenser on the fridge. All it took was a wipe down with a paper towel so it wasn't stained. There was food splashes above the stove that could have been wiped off, not stained. The fridge door handles needed wiped down as well. The dishes didnt look like theyhad been cleaned in awhile. Every dish we picked out of the cabninet we needed to hand wash, that coilf be due to not being used by other renters. The half bath had small hairs on the wall, thinking it was beard hair hopefully. The shower/tub had a few areas that needed to be better wiped as well. Maybe this was just a fluke, maybe they really were rushing to help accommodate us checking in early. But I would rather have a clean house to stay in then check in early especially since the cleaning fee is $150.00. The owner was very friendly. She did state that she was sick and was having someone else clean the house for her, so that possibly could have had something to do with it. I did get half of my cleaning fee back. She did have everything available from washing detergent to dish soap and trash bags, but we could not find the dishwasher detergent so we had to buy some. I would have given 5 stars if the house was fully cleaned.
