Comfortable Home Nestled at Edge of Pisgah Forrest
5/5 This lovely, well-designed bungalow with a spacious post & beam common space is beautifully isolated on the crest of a steep hill at the end of a winding single-lane drive. The natural gardens, expansive tri-level deck space, and the adjoining ground-level multi-use space comfortably combine to provide the perfect family retreat, with every kitchen, bed & bath requirement provided. It was most suitable for just the two of us. Our host Mitzi was always available to make sure our stay was perfect. Her lovely home echoes many days of happy family memories to which we now add our own.

5/5 We were in the area for MTB adventures. The Salamander Creek Cabin was the perfect place to call home for the week. It is located minutes from Kanuga, Riveter, Rock Creek and DuPont. Grocery stores and restaurants are also a short drive away. The home was very clean, stocked with all the necessities and more. The beds were comfortable. The hosts were so thoughtful and very easy to communicate with. I cannot say enough good things about our stay!We travel to the area several times a year and this will always be our first look to book. I selfishly almost don't want to share how great this place is so that it may always be available when we want to book! We can't wait to stay again.
