Loved Sweet Caroline!!
5/5 If you LOVE marsh and sunset views, then Sweet Caroline is a great home for you! The decor is elegant-beachy, and the outdoor furniture is high-top resin, so you are not looking at the railings and get to see all the marsh view has to offer!! The deck also wraps around to the east side of the house which provides a shady area for the afternoons when the sun is directly hitting the back deck! And the side deck has a view of Jinx Creek as well. This home also has a vacant lot on one side which we used for our corn hole games! The kitchen is well-equipped and has counter seating for 2, in addition to the dining table that we sat 8 people at. The bathrooms are updated, and both have double sinks. There is also an outdoor shower and a lower-level area for 4 people to sit, 2 in the swing and 2 rocking chairs. The dock also has seating and is a nice place for pictures or relaxing! We had a Blue Heron within our view every day! He was beautiful to watch! The walk to the beach access was only 3-4 minutes and there is a grass spot to park your golf cart within Island Park just steps from the beach access. And lastly, the neighbors who live next door were lovely people and their dog Maggie was so sweet! We had a great stay at Sweet Caroline and definitely recommend this home for your stay in OIB!!

Great Stay
5/5 The cottage was in excellent shape. It was very clean. The linens/towels were great. The views and fishing from the dock were the highlight. I highly recommend this rental. In addition, the service for check-in and checkout process was very good.
Summer Vacation
5/5 Beautiful views of the sound make it so that even when you're away from the beach you don't feel like you're missing anything. Saw tons of wildlife including cranes, storks, sting rays, and much more. Short 5 minute walk to the beach. Also highly recommend renting a golf cart as there is a public beach access point with golf cart parking within minutes of the house. Nice updated appliances. Beautiful private dock. This place is a slice of paradise.
5/5 We loved our stay here! The property is lovely, and great location close to the beach and on the sound. House is well appointment and immaculate. We would definitely stay here again!
