  Uniit was very comfortable and the location to the beach was great! The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. We were happy we were on the first floor because of the outside steps but luckily we were able to climb them with no problem. We would certainly stay here again.

• Roach infestation

  It hurts me to write this review but people need to know the condition of this condo. During our 3 nights stay we saw between 7-8 live cockroaches crawling on the walls, cabinets, and floors. There were an additional 2 dead ones that we saw on the first night. We told the owner about it, but we did not want them to come spray since we had an infant. Owner just said “hopefully they were dead…” no apology or anything about it. The roach problem got worse each night and was so bad it caused my wife to have panic attacks.

  The entire condo smelled so musty it soaked in to our clothes and bassinet. It stunk for days we had to leave it in our garage to air out when we got home.

  Additionally the floors felt soft in certain areas where my foot would sink down especially in the kitchen. We genuinely had to avoid where we stepped in the house in fear that we would fall through, literally.

  Even before the first night I wanted to leave, and I’ve never wanted to leave anywhere before. I was disgusted, disappointed, and embarrassed to have brought my family here. It really put a terrible taste in everyone’s mouth.

  The good is that the beach is close by and the property has a pool.

  Regardless, would advise to stay away from this property.

  Regarding the issues you mentioned, our condo is professionally treated by pest control every two weeks to ensure a pest-free environment. It’s important to clarify that what you encountered were not roaches, but water bugs, which can sometimes enter homes during severe weather conditions like the recent hurricane. We regret that this occurred during your stay and understand your concerns, especially with an infant in the house. Our offer to have pest control address the issue was declined, but we certainly would have acted promptly to resolve it.
  
  Our condo was recently renovated with new flooring and fresh paint, and we have not encountered issues with the flooring before. However, we will investigate the matter to ensure everything remains in good condition.
  
  We do appreciate the positive comments about the proximity to the beach and the pool, but it’s clear that your overall experience fell short of our standards.
  
  While we want our guests to enjoy their stay here, we also need them to respect our house rules and treat the property as their own.
