Reservation cancelled with no notice
1/5 We arrived for check in following all instructions given in the check in email. We had stopped at the grocery store and purchased a weeks worth of groceries as we were tired from the drive and did not want to leave again. Imagine our surprise when I got to the front door and was greeted by the owner's dog. After many phone calls and hours of being placed on hold we were told by Evolve that the owner had opened all emails about our upcoming reservation but had not replied to any of them. The property manager said she spoke to the owner and was told she had called Evolve and told them to cancel. I don't know who to believe but it left us without any place to stay and a car full of groceries. I was able to find a small condo on Beech Mountain the next day and to stay at Pineola Inn that night. Only place to stay with a refrigerator. Very stressful start to our vacation. I was finally reimbursed the entire amount as I had purchased the trip insurance. Lesson learned, don't buy groceries until you check in and contact property manager before hand to make sure your reservation is still valid. Very upsetting to say the least. We had 3 adults and 3 children on this trip.

First snow for kids
5/5 We had a great time at the cabin. Enjoyed all the activities that North Carolina offers. Most favorite was tubing and snowboarding at sugar mountain. Grandfathers bridge was amazing!

Quaint and peaceful!
4/5 My family and I stayed here this past weekend. It's a little ways from Boone but affordable and accomodating. Very clean, equipped with the amenities of all home.

Hidden little secret
5/5 This cabin was amazing. It is located in a golf community but is almost hidden in the woods. It had all amenities you could need and was central to all the activities we had planned to visit. The property manager was laid back and easy to contact. I would definitely stay here again.

Vacation in the mountains
5/5 The home was as beautiful as it looked in the photos, and the location was very good in terms of access to many of the sites we had hoped to visit - Linville Gorge, Linville Falls, Grandfather Mountain, and Blowing Rock. There was an unexpected power outage announced by the electric utility and the agent contacted us in advance and offered to bring extra blankets if necessary - very thoughtful!
