My family and I traveled to Mooresville, NC to check out The Carrigan Farm Quarry and Lake Norman for my oldest son's 18th birthday celebration. We booked this house as it was on the lower side of our budget for this trip, it's location looked good and it looked private. A few days before our arrival date I emailed the host requesting an early check-in. They immediately accommodated. That was awesome. Then, about an hour before we arrived, the host called and checked in asking if everything was okay or if we needed anything. I was impressed! The check-in process was super simple, all of the instructions were sent to me in one email making it easy to reference. The home was perfect in size and had great decor. We were very comfortable during our stay and enjoyed playing yard games out in the backyard. It is very private, which was cool. Overall, we liked the home, and the host was great. I would say this was a 5-star home but there were a few things to note for improvements. 1. There weren't any washing detergents.2. There weren't any paper towels.3. The gas grill was out of propane. This one was a big one for us. We were out swimming all day Saturday, then came back looking forward to grilling out steaks and hamburgers. We were crushes when we learned that the propane was empty.4. There are no large pans to cook with. This was very tough considering we couldn't cook on the grill. We had to cook steaks and burgers on a pancake skillet. 4 out of 5 stars
