The perfect mountains hideaway
5/5 The cabin was above and beyond our expectations. It is quite and serene, surrounded by beautiful nature. The place is very well equipped with kitchen tools and utensils, as well as grill and outside stove that worked flawlessly. We cooked amazing dinners there.
The whole place was clean, comfy and cozy. We couldn't ask for a better place.
The drive there can be a bit confusing and the road is a bit narrow, so be mindful of that. It is a bit far from the most popular spots in the Smoky Mountains Park, but there are other places within half an hour drive. Even for the farther places we wouldn't trade it and enjoyed scenic drives.
The host was available and helpful whenever we needed.
Beautiful place. Great view
5/5 Place was fanatstic. Hot tub was really nice after skiing. Beds were comfortable. If we had stayed longer, would have used the Solo stove fire pit.
Road up is a bit challenging (it is North Carolina mountains after all). But the view is worth it.
Super close to Cataloochee and well priced. Not too far from Cherokee (and Harrahs), either
