Will get to the great things about this house, but before we do, we have to talk about the terrible road that is Conley Drive. The listing description states that AWD is needed in the winter months - but that is completely wrong, and arguably deceptive in this listing. AWD is needed regardless, and you need more than AWD - you’ll need a high clearance SUV like a Jeep or Tahoe.
The road is horrible - pitted out, enormous potholes and ruts everywhere, with the pavement cracking, breaking and falling apart at every corner up to this property. Somewhat ironically, the driveway for this listing is just fine with nice, smooth asphalt. Two of the three cars we brought - all of which were AWD sedans - could not make it to the home because of the terrible road condition. Unless you have a large, high clearance SUV - save your time and money and don’t book this listing.
Now onto the good - the home was beautiful, in fantastic shape, and exactly as described. Very clean rooms, everything is in great shape, and the fenced yard is a huge plus given the wildlife that we all know is around. The wine bar outside is super cool and a great hangout spot for the evenings.
I hope the owners will adjust the listing description to something a bit more transparent and honest, so that future guests don’t run into the same issue we did. Adding photos of the road would be an appreciated, transparent addition to your listing and a good Karma move from the owners.
