  • Perfect Cozy Cottage

    5/5

Packing up to leave I had wished I’d booked it for one more day longer. I enjoyed everything about this little cottage. It’s a perfect place to just get away from everything. I definitely want to come back and enjoy the outside spaces in a little warmer weather.

  • Beautiful Place!!

We had the best time here. I wouldn’t change anything about this cabin. Everything you need is already here (except food of course) to be completely comfortable. Bring your own food and you can enjoy being inside by the fire place or you can go outside to enjoy the covered porch and listen to nature while you sit and relax. If fast paced attractions are your thing you probably want to go to myrtle beach. But if you want to be away from everybody and everything this is the place. You can tell a lot of work has gone into making this a welcoming special place for guests. Just FYI they are not kidding when they say you need a 4 wheel drive year round. Unless you don’t mind a hike you will need one. However my little 4WD Colorado made it up with no problem. We will be back very very soon.

  • Mountain Hideaway

    5/5

My husband and I and our young retriever enjoyed Moonshine Cabin for a glorious week in June. The cabin is comfy, charming and well-stocked. Surrounded by a richly planted flowers ( hollyhocks, roses, blueberries) tightly fenced in big woods, it is a truly lovely setting that even includes a spring, much enjoyed by our Tillie. The birding is excellent and the night sky clear. We enjoyed the small town of Lansing. DO believe the listing when it says 4 WD is needed for the steep gravel drive.
