  • AMAZING CABIN!

    This cabin was amazing! From the hot tub being heated up and ready, to all the came unties we needed. Everything was great.

    Typically we bring basics from home to ensure we have enough for the week due to us being a family of 6 (laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, spices, etc.). None of this was needed because they had PLENTY of everything we could ever need for the entire week.

    My ONLY complaint, and it isn’t even fair to the property owner because it was out of his control, was that the water pressure was terrible. Due to this, the upstairs shower didn’t even work. Took forever to refill the hot tub, took a very long time to fill up the coffee maker everyday, and showers were hot, but no water pressure. Again, this is NO reflection on the property owner. He was in constant communication with me and contacted the well company multiple times.

    The cabin was comfortable and we had a great time and would definitely come again. Thank you for a great week!

    The cabin was beautiful and met all of the needs of our family. All contact with the property owner and check in went great. We very much enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin!

    First thing First. The view was spectacular. Unfortunately the cabin is not. The hot tub was very nasty when we arrived. (Management did come and service it the next day) This place sleeps 12 people, but has no glass where. I think there where 4 wine glasses 2 of which where cracked. The laundry machine stunk. The pool ques had no tips. The fireplaces don't work or have gas turned off. And to top it all off cabin 2 had a sewage leak that stunk the place up. This place is difficult to get to so if your planning a tip, be prepared.

    - We sincerely apologize for the issue with the hot tub but are glad we could rectify it promptly.

    - We would have greatly appreciated it if you had reached out with any additional questions or concerns during your stay. Our team is always eager to assist and ensure that you have a pleasant experience.

    - The fireplace is fully operational, and we provide instructional videos and written instructions for your convenience.

    - Our team has thoroughly inspected the laundry facilities, and there are no reported issues. Additionally, we have found no sewage problems.

    We pride ourselves on going above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future stays will be excellent.

  • Property Manager was MIA

    The house itself was nice. However, there were outrageous additional fees that included a cleaning fee. We were also expected to leave the house as we found it. We had to take the garbage to an outside container that was not on the immediate property. We had to put the towels in the basement washing machine. Why am I paying the equivalent of a night's stay for a cleaning fee when I have to do the cleaning? We stayed for only 2 nights and didn't have a mess. They say to leave the beds made that were not slept in. This makes me wonder about when some of the bedding was last washed... and what if someone does make the bed after they slept in it. Does that mean that they leave it and the bedding is not cleaned. One would think with the large cleaning fee, someone would be able to wash all the bed linens for the next guests. There was also a problem with bugs. There were lady bugs and stink bugs in the house. The property manager NEVER called me even after I left multiple messages. I had to call the rental company that was not on site multiple times to get the code/information just to get into the property. This added to the stress of wondering if I was even going to have a property to stay in when I got there. Currently this house is for sale. I'm thinking this is the reason for the additional issues.

    We are glad you chose the home and we are sorry your stay was not what you expected. All taxes and fees are clearly outlined by Vrbo at check-out before guests need to confirm payment. As is standard for vacation rentals, guests are asked to complete a few small tasks, like removing their own trash, as part of checkout. The cleaning fee goes to a professional service that sanitizes and prepares the home for each new guest. We have ongoing pest control that manages and protects the home from any issues and have never experienced this before. We also provide a welcome app 10 days before check-in that contains all the instructions for check-in as well as additional information. We did not receive any communication from you and are always available via call or text. Guests can also reach out to Evolve 24/7 for additional support.
    We do all we can to make our homes the best possible stays, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. Thank you for your feedback.
