Beautiful well-appointed home
5/5 This property is just as advertised and was a home away from home for our family during a long weekend. The home was thoughtfully designed, tastefully decorated and well-equipped for cooking family meals. The Powderhorn Community is gorgeous and we took advantage of the hiking trails and beautiful sunsets. One of our favorites homes we've stayed in and plan to return during the summer months to take advantage of all of the amenities.

5/5 I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for the wonderful Christmas stay at the Red Headed Woodpecker cabin in Deep Gap. The experience was truly enchanting.
Beginning before we arrived, Gina's responsiveness to our questions and her kind spirit assured us we had chosen the perfect location for our Christmas in the mountains.
The cabin's cozy atmosphere, rustic charm, and scenic surroundings created the perfect setting for a memorable Christmas celebration. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The attention to detail in the cabin's decor and amenities did not go unnoticed, and the kitchen is amazing!
We appreciated the thoughtfulness that went into ensuring our comfort. We enjoyed the tranquility and beauty that Deep Gap had to offer. The fireplace, adorned with festive decorations provided warmth and a festive ambiance that made our Christmas celebrations truly special.
Thank you once again for sharing your lovely cabin with us. It was a delightful experience that we will cherish for years to come. We hope to have the opportunity to return and create more wonderful memories in the future.

5/5 We had a great stay! Decided to do a weekend getaway and chose this place as it’s not far from our home in VA. We love doing little mini vacations. The property was fantastic! Great communication with managers, very nice furnishings, and cute little cabin! We would stay here again in the future.
