We stayed three nights at the lovely property with our two kiddos and labradoodle. The porch and fireplace is dreamy and the house is so cozy! Better yet, we didn’t realize there are trails just outside the door to walk along the creek. It was an easy hike and great for the entire family. The house is convenient to everything nearby and we will rent again! My only tip is to maybe bring a comfy comforter as the bedding is a bit light for our taste. Also, bring large black garbage bags that you can double up. You have to deposit your garbage at a location 5+ miles away. Would be nice if they provided garbage service, but it’s not the end of the world. Overall, great place and we will likely be back!

Exactly as described. Great weekend getaway for us with quality time on the screened in porch. Guest contact was exceptional. Highly recommend.

We rented for three weeks and loved the house and especially the porch. Overall it was cozy, comfortable and convenient. We only had three of us so we had plenty of space but it would be tight for a bigger group especially since the third bedroom is an offshoot from one of the other bedrooms. Loved all the wooded trails that were accessible from the house. Kitchen was adequate but could use a few more tools…a vegie peeler, grater, more bowls to mix or serve. A sweet spot; we would definitely rent it again. The porch is fabulous.
Easy

This location was great. The whole family loved it. One perk that we didn’t think was identified in the description is there is a small trail located right in the backyard of the house. If you follow it, you end up at the lake. On the other end is is a small observation deck. The only negative I have, and it’s minor, is I don’t feel the description explains well there is no garbage pickup. You must dispose of you garbage on your own. This was detailed in the binder in the cottage and it’s only about 6-7 miles away. If you follow the instructions in the book in the cabin you will have no issues finding it. One note, the dumpster is not open on Sundays, so be aware of that. I would like to also say we loved the decorations. We would positively visit this house again.
