The Tiny Cottage is conveniently located for us when visiting family in the area. It had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the backyard.

Neighborhood is charming, quiet, and a short walk to shops and restaurants. Bed is comfortable and all linens are new. Kitchenette was stocked with all I needed for cooking and serving. Window AC unit works quickly. It would have been much nicer to enjoy pleasant evening temperatures by opening windows except there are no screens. The only window with a screen is screwed shut. Bathroom is nice, clean, and new. Never had difficulty parking right in front of house. Though I was unable to stream, I was able to work remotely and hold zoom meetings with my laptop. I could only watch live tv with antenna.

tidy and functional cottage walking distance from Carrboro downtown. Very clean and in good condition..Could use a few minor additions, like blackout shades, second shelf in the refrigerator, microwave, and TV service. All in all fine for a short stay.

We know and love Carrboro – and were excited to return to town and stay in this little bungalow. Unfortunately, this property was extremely disappointing. There were a few items which are not clearly stated in the overview of the property: the bed is not a king, there is a TV – however, there is no cable and Wi-Fi is next to non-existing so it is impossible to stream anything (or work on your computer in any capacity), the stove in the kitchen was non-operational as we just turned it on and it started to smoke in the tiny house (never tried to turn it back on), and there was portions of the tiny home that had wood rot in the floor (it felt as if we stepped on it we would fall through). Additionally, there were instances in which we heard loud arguments between neighbors and clearly intoxicated people walking around talking with our children as we tried to enjoy dinner on the front steps. To top it all off we had some billing issues with the rental agency and had an extremely difficult time receiving any type of response. I would not recommend this home to anyone – it is overpriced and underwhelming.

-As residents of the neighborhood for the last 10 years, they were surprised to hear your feedback, as they have never experienced rude or disrespectful behavior from neighbors. We are sorry to hear you experienced otherwise, as we want all guests to feel comfortable and safe during their stay.
-They will be reporting your experience to the neighbors so this won't occur for future guests.
-The download speed is 35MBS, which should be fast enough to do most things, including streaming.
-The owners have replaced the TV.
-The welcome book will be updated with instructions on how to get better internet speed- including connecting to the 5G network and using newer equipment.
-The oven was tested after your stay, and it was clean and in perfect working condition.
-The bed is queen-sized, and we do clearly state this in the listing details.
-Please feel free to reach out about where the rotted wood is, as this is new to the owners, and they would like to look into this immediately.
-We're sorry that you had communication issues with us at Evolve. We have a very high call and email volume due to COVID, but we will be investigating your case to make sure we can come to an agreeable solution. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
