  • Spring Break Getaway

The property was just what we needed. It was perfect in size and amenities. Like a hotel but with a beautiful river view in the middle of the mountains.

  • Great Little River getaway

This was the last minute trip before the school year started. We had a great time. We were so glad it was on the river, our dog absolutely loved swimming in the river every day. It was also close to waterfalls and nearby towns to visit. I would definitely recommend this to a couple for a quick getaway.

  • Such an Awesome Place on the River!

If you are looking to unwind, relax and enjoy nature then this is your place! Sit out on the balcony and enjoy the Cane River. If you want to sit near the river and get your feet wet, bring a couple of chairs. Brandy and Nute have put so many special touches to their renovated apartments. The garden outside has beautiful flowers with bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. There is no cell reception but you can wifi. Inside #5 cabin, you walk into a clean kitchen dining room and the bedroom, living area and bath are next. I love cleanliness so I was so happy to see everything super clean. They leave farm fresh eggs for you in the fridge. Isn't that sweet?! The bed was extremely comfortable and they have plenty of places to plug in electronics. The balcony was my happy place. There are cushions for the chairs in the closet. We loved the cute town of Burnsville. Starbucks was in Ingels Grocery, so that made my day. The Homeplace Beer Co/Hog Hollow Wood-Fired Pizza is a must. We also drove to Mt Airy to see Mayberry. I could go on and on. Just trust me, this place is a winner!!

  • Nice and cozy

Remote place in a valley that's great for recharging the batteries. No cell service means you can l truly get away from the outside world for a bit. Definitely would love to come back.
