This home was everything it is described as and more. We really loved staying in this beautiful river front home in Burgaw, North Carolina. The home was well equipped, including a very well-stocked kitchen. I love to cook, even if I am away from my home, and I found it very easy and accommodating to make everything that I needed for my little family to eat. There were even kayaks we could have used, lots of seating outdoors to enjoy the river. We found the neighborhood to be very quiet and peaceful, yet neighbors are friendly and helpful as well. The home was spotless, but not overly perfume scented like some homes. I greatly appreciated this! Great fishing, bird watching and nature bathing here! The frog chorus every night is a truly magical experience!! Michele was very quick to respond to any questions or help I needed. There is also a great little coffee shop in town called Brown Dog coffee. Also, an amazing thrift store called Monty’s home that benefits, dogs and cats and their people, and also refugees from Ukraine. What an amazing little town!I hope we can stay here again, as it was definitely one of my favorites I have ever stayed with VRBO!

From the owner: "Thank you for such a nice review. We would love to host you and your family anytime."
I was so delighted with this rental. It had the most complete kitchen setup that I have ever had in a rental. I was able to make all of my dishes for our homecoming with no problem. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space to store our clothing. We used the washer and dryer to do a load of clothing with no problem. But by far, the selling point for us was the deck above the river. It is a double story deck so we could sit above the water in the mornings and close to the river in the afternoon. Our hosts had a bird feeder right next to the deck which hosted many species of birds. We even saw a hummingbird at the hanging baskets on the porch. The area is very peaceful and relaxing. There was also a supply of fishing tackle in the laundry room if one wished to fish (with a license). If we are ever in the area in the future, this is the place we would pick to stay.

From the owner: Ann was so easy to communicate and left the house in wonderful condition. It was pleasure to be able to host Ann and her husband. They are welcome to come back anytime.
The property is wonderful the only issue we had is the wifi password did not work.
