Great Explorations
5/5 My family really loved staying here. The property backs up to a mountain side forest complete with awesome trails to hike and explore. The house itself was very comfy and well-appointed with everything you need. Water/heat/power/internet all worked flawlessly. Beds were very comfy, and the blankets were warm. The immediate area around the cabin is a small rural community that is quiet and inviting. The nearest town is not far off and has everything you need, including a Wal-Mart. All of the local attractions are easy to get to. We went to the local observatory, Linville falls, some hiking trails and more. I don't think we ever had to drive more than about 35 minutes for anything. We loved every minute. Great stay!
