Disappointed
1/5 VRBO did not respond to our questions - had to go through Evole (a secondary management company)- Evole's local team member was very hard to reach. Did not receive door code 24 hrs before check in, as promised. House was not ready on time (2 hours late). House was left dirty, clean dishes were left in dishwasher, laundry was left in dryer, mold in bathroom, mouse droppings in kitchen drawers. House is older and smells Very Musty! Not Handicap Accessible. There is no House Information Book which would have been helpful. Boasts yard games, however there are no bean bags for corn hole and the bolo balls for ladder ball set were tangled and unusable.
The property itself is peaceful and beautiful and located close to town but with all the issues, we would not choose to stay again.

Be Warned!
1/5 The house was cute upon entry and in a decent and quiet location but the beds were filthy - dirt, stains, hair and blood and the management company/host offered to come to the house well past midnight and an hour after being contacted to change the sheets. Unacceptable!

Nice stay in rural Apex
4/5 We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable secluded country cottage. Were there for event at UNC. It was a bit of a bribe but fine for family to spend good time together.

4/5 It was a very nice house. The quietness and scenery was perfect. The kitchen wasn't stocked with many pots, pans as would have liked but was manageable. We would definitely stay again.
