This is a spacious, comfortable, and attractive house. The living room is large with big windows facing the mountains in two directions. The two bedrooms on the main floor are large and comfortable--one has a king bed (a bit on the firm side) and one has a queen. There are two bedrooms on the lower/ground level--one with a queen or maybe it's a double; the other with the same size bed, plus a bunk bed.
East River Road is visible from the home, a few hundred yards away, but didn't present any noise problem. There's a nice porch for sitting and watching the changing light over the mountains and the cows moving through the field across the road.
The one caveat is about the kitchen. The space itself is ample, and the appliances are fine. But the equipment and staples are somewhat lacking if you're interested in cooking dinners for groups of people. I made suggestions to the managing agent. You may want to ask if they've done any upgrading of pots, pans, utensils, spices, staples, etc. Also, if you're into grilling, there's only a small charcoal grill on the ground floor, one level below the kitchen, but it looks like bringing it up to the main level porch would present a fire hazard, so don't get your heart set on grilling big steaks.
We loved our house! There we 3 adult couples and 4 kids under 10. We never felt crowded. The kids loved playing outside and watching for deer.Gas, groceries, and a wonderful bakery a short drive down the highway. Fishing, whitewater rafting, swimming all on the Yellowstone River! We will be back!

This was our first time in the area, and we just loved the surroundings and location. We were a group of 7 ranging in ages from 23 to 81 and the sleeping arrangements were perfect. Our 81 yr old has mobility issues and the steep entry stairs were not ideal. We worked it out for her to use the ones in back and it was not a problem. The appointments in the home are lovely and the views could not be better. We even enjoyed watching the neighboring livestock. We would definitely rent this home again, as well as recommend it to our friends.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The views were amazing and it was so quiet at night. We were on a working retreat and we had everything we needed to be productive. We can't wait to come back.
