Lakeside home
3/5 Beds were comfortable.
2 stars for number of beds and location, nothing more deserved
2/5 Where to start?! This property is for sale, therefore, the property owners are not going out of their way to bring it up to date or make it comfortable. In the past, I've stayed in vacation rentals that were for sale but were still comfortable, modern, well-furnished, and well-equipped. That is not the case with this location.
Also, after fees and taxes, this rental was over $800 per night. We all agreed we would have rather got 4 hotel rooms with 2 queen beds in each room, AC, and a pool.
Pros: 6 bedrooms and close to town. WiFi available
Cons: No AC or intact, functional window coverings to mitigate sun blazing in the windows. Bedrooms were HOT; maybe it would be comfortable in the spring or fall, not in the middle of MT summer.
There is not enough seating for dining or hanging out in a rental this size. We did not have one single space where we could all visit comfortably. The couches on both floors were broken.
No TVs or electronics were provided.
We were greeted by an outdoor overflowing garbage can right at the entrance by the door. It was not emptied until the day we were leaving.
Four to five used couches (yes, that's how many are lacking), a mini-split on each level, some bedroom window AC units, and at least one TV with streaming (as per EVERY other sort of rental) per level would go a long way to improve the stay at this location.
These were just the big issues, there were plenty of smaller issues as well. They aren't even trying.
Family trip to Montana & Glacier National Park
4/5 The house was large and plenty of rooms. The bed were comfortable. There are no TV's but we didn't care because we were out so much of the time. There is also no AC, but the house cooled down fairly quickly in the evening.

Great Manager - but Owner's are renting out a run down house
1/5 We have stayed in Lakeside for the last three summers - and have had great experiences. We have rented a home managed by Rudy before and he is so helpful and quick to respond. Sadly, the home is in disrepair (doors don't lock, no window coverings, furniture is broken, plumbing is horrible....) - this will be our last trip to Lakeside.
