We enjoyed our stay here. There are a few things to know, so you can decided if it's the right place for you...This is a beautiful home with unique & fun cabin decor. I agree that it could use a deep cleaning/paint. But for some this might make for a more stress-free stay because with young kids & pets you won't have to worry so much. But if details matter to you, then it might not be right for you. For example, I vacuumed the crumbs out of the Foosball table, cleaned out the spilled sugar in a cupboard, and washed the bathroom rugs for my own peace of mind but, I didn't mind doing these things. Especially since the price point is low compared to a lot of other choices. The basics were clean: toilets, windows, dusting etc.I loved sitting/eating on the 2 different balconies. There are lots of close neighbors but we were there mid-week, so many homes were not in use at the time. But there were some neighbor dogs off leash, if that's a concern. The main floor beds were comfortable. The upstairs mattresses are a bit hard, so probably best for younger kids that don't notice. My 14 yr old slept fine but my 12 yr old had to move to a softer bed. Also, the main floor is really squeaky near the bedrooms & bath. So if you have a light sleeper in your party it might wake them if people need to use the bathroom in the night. There is satellite TV so lots of channels. but we tried to watch a Free On Demand movie & the internet was too slow & it kept stopping & loading. But we didn't have too much trouble with the WiFi on our phones. I loved having access to the laundry & vacuum. And we had everything we needed. There was coffee & tea, some condiments in the fridge and even a drawer full of snacks. We enjoyed our stay & would recommend it, especially for the low price.

This house is in need of a thorough cleaning and general maintenance. It was not clean and I have pictures. Both bathrooms had hair in the tub, it had not been vacuumed and a used bath towel was found in a bedroom. The BBQ grill was so dirty it was unusable along with the fire pit. Previous guests had left aluminum cans in the fire pit and the lawn chair cushions were very dirty and worn. The whole interior of the house needed painting - there were large patches of “beat up walls”. I emailed our “host” upon arrival to notify him of the condition of the house. After check out three days later, still no response. The pictures on the website are misleading because it looks neat and tidy but there is a lot of junk and clutter both inside and out. Also be aware that even though it was listed on VRBO, correspondence also came from the “Evolve Team”. It was confusing.

We enjoyed the property immensely. The fire pit was well used as was the wood stove inside. It had a wonderful kitchen with all the things we needed. The week away with the family was a great time. Thanks again for everything.
