Grass not cut and house needs major upgrade!! Blinds were broken and wouldn't open or shut. Light over kitchen table had broken glass panes. Floor in kitchen and hall in laundry hall was so sticky from old wax that my flip flops were sticking to it and I almost fell. A lot of lamps didn't have bulbs. Very few towels in bathrooms and were very OLD. no towels or dish rags in kitchen. Furniture on back kitchen porch was very old, mildewed and broken plus screens had holes in them. Garbage can was overflowing in front of yard and was days before it was picked up by garbage truck. Grass was very long when we got there and was even longer when we left. No one ever cut it or cut bushes. It is such a shame that this house is in the shape that it is in. The pictures of the house were very deceiving!! The house looked new, in shape and maintained in the pictures but that was very far from being true.

Perfectly adequate. Good space, clean. But dated and could use a refresh.

The inside was somewhat ratty. It was obvious clean and tolerable but needed some updating and maintenance. The backporch was not swept very dirty and there was an ashtray full of butts and a rotten screened door. The 3 glass doors did not have locks. Overall we thought it was very pricey for what we got.

Hi Diana, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and we wanted to share the following:
- We use professional photography for the home, so all decor and furniture you see on the listing are as advertised. The owner hopes to be able to make some updates to the furniture in the feature.
- The owner sincerely apologizes for the cleanliness issues with the back porch. They will pass along your feedback to the cleaners so they can look into and address the items mentioned for future guests.
- The sliding glass doors have locks, and the owner also put boards in the doors for extra security. They will double-check to ensure the locks and boards are still in place.
- We do our best to set industry-competitive prices based on the property and surrounding area, but we apologize if you didn't feel it was a good value.
Thanks for letting us know about your stay!
I remained in constant communication with my hostess. We had several asks to accommodate our family as we evacuated from Hurricane Ida. Jessica was quick to reply and was able to work with us to work through those requests. I sincerely appreciate her efforts in helping reduce our stress in such a trying time in our lives. We were comfortable and the kids were able to have their own space, unlike what's typical hotel room would have to offer.

Beds in double and twin rooms were not comfortable. Coffee pot leaked. Property very dated and in need of TLC.
