  Great space for our stay! There is nothing around so it was great we brought a boat, if you do not have one, I wouldn’t recommend this spot as it is very private. The house was lovely and the communication was great!

  Beautiful home with private dock/boat slip/kayaks! There was plenty of space to accommodate 4 adults and 4 children! Drive way is a little steep but was not an issue for us! We all had an amazing time and will definitely be back!! Highly recommend this property!!

• VERY DISAPPOINTED :-(

  THIS PLACE WAS NOT CLEAN! I have videos and pictures of

  - dirty socks under the bed

  - the floors were filthy my grandchildren's feet were stained with the grimy filth.

  - We had to take the kitchen trash out upon arrival.

  - The sponge for the kitchen sink was nasty (there was a dark brown residue leaking from it. It looked like it had been used for the grill, but the grill was not clean either.

  - The drain stopper had remnants of what looked like raw chicken skin in it.

  - The inside refrigerator had not been wiped out- dead bugs were EVERYWHERE!

  - There was a crack in one of the bins in the refrigerator

  - Some of the bedding was spotted; which made us question if the the other bedding had been cleaned.

  - One of the shower heads had no pressure to the water. I had to stand within inches of it to use the water and the other partially worked in the master bedroom.

  - Two remotes to the TVs had some foreign substances on them. It was a shade darker than Peanut Butter.

  - The dust on the table and consoles in the living room area was thick.

  - The listing clearly states "NO PETS" There were (3) on the property site. We did not feel comfortable going outside to explore the property that I rented.

  At one point in time we walked out as a group (after the owner stated he'd put the dogs up, because there were a few of us allergic and the majority are scared of dogs. Two of my grands were walking down the STEEP driveway hill a few feet ahead of others and one of the dogs lung in motion to run after them and it was grabbed by its' harness(NO LEASH). This really upset me, but by the time I got down this crazy hill - they were leaving in their boat.

  - I booked this property because I was told that the Owner (which lives alone) may/may not be on the premises. The contact person by the name of Tonya confirmed no pets would be onsite, because I expressed my concerns.

  -Brent (the new contact person/owner, I am assuming) had multiple guest there daily. I counted several adults/children. Granted this is his property, but the listing was misleading.

  -MOSQUITOVILLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  We could not sit out to enjoy a quiet night. Those things were HORRIFIC! The off that we sprayed was like candy to them. We literally had to by candles! I didn't venture back out after the sunset because, I was defeated

  This entire trip was planned with significant meaning behind it and we endured too many obstacles to overlook, so if you chose this property consider yourself warned!

  Hi Denise, After going over your review, the owner would like to pass this along in response:
  - I am deeply sorry that your stay fell short of expectations. The property had been cleaned for your arrival, but since the cleaning company was short-staffed that weekend, some areas did not meet our usual standard
  - I also apologize for the confusion about the occupancy of the lower unit. The upstairs is the vacation rental, and the downstairs is occupied by our family. We have two silver labs & tried to keep them inside as much as possible after your request
  - I am not sure who you had talked to that said we did not have pets and that I am single, but it must have been a miscommunication
  - We have sprayed the property for mosquitos, however, we are still on the lake and leaving the lights & floodlights on will attract bugs
  We tried to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. When you let us know about the issues, we offered to send the cleaning company back and refunded the cleaning fee. Once again, I am sorry that your stay was less than you expected.

  Great stay in a beautiful home. Plenty of room for my guests to stay inside, hang out on the deck or the lake. Will be back?
