• Great location and nice view of the lake

  We stayed here this past weekend with our family. It was a great setup with the rooms upstairs. Had fun on the middle level playing cards at the tables and plenty of table space to all eat at the tables. Kitchen was well stocked with the necessities. The patio was a nice place to relax with a cup of coffee and the living room had many places to sit. Great location in the middle of the north shore. Right on the bike path between Schroeder and Lutsen. Would definitely stay here again!! Also nice welcome gift too!

• Fantastic experience!

  This townhouse had everything we needed, from amenities to location. We only ate out twice the week we were there because the kitchen had everything we needed. There were views of Lake Superior from almost every room. And a porch as well to sit and listen to the lake.

  We had access to a beach that is an agate hunters dream.

  Superior National and Gunflint golf courses are so close we golfed both.

  The Northshore Winery is just down the road and an incredible spot for a glass of wine. And Voyager brewery is Dow the road in Grand Marais so there was something for everyone.

  A great time was had by all. Thanks so much!

• Perfect place, location, and host.

  This was one of our favorite VRBO rentals so far. It was very clean, great spaces, comfortable beds, Great Lake views. The location is perfect for getting to the falls, the light house, and Grand Marais. We also appreciated being so close to the Tofte general store and the Coho Cafe for coffee and take out pizzas that were very good! The host and owner were very communicative and easy to work with. It was also nice to be able to put our car in the garage. We would definitely stay again.

• Very nice, very comfortable

  Outside of a couple things it was absolutely top notch. Very comfy beds. Very well equipt. Nice to have use of the garage and grill.

  There was no key in the lockbox on arrival, but had I kept reading I would have gotten to the garage door code. But the owner was available and helped so that was easy and immediate. The main issue for us was there was really no access to the lake as advertised. The steps were out of order/“not safe”, unbeknownst to the owner. She gave us another way to get there but it was just a way to view the lake, not a way to get to the lake as we thought we were getting when renting this townhome (it now actually says “access to the beach is not guaranteed” which I don’t think was in the listing before🤔). It was just disappointing and I know I wouldn’t have rented that one if we didn’t have access to the beach.

  But the place was great and owners very responsive! Thank you.

As you noted, the stairs have not been placed for beach access due to a cracked anchor which is not safe for anyone to utilize until repairs are completed. I know you can appreciated the "safety first" requirement but I do understand your disappointment of not being able to reach the beach, I would feel the same way.
  I'm glad you were able to enjoy the rest of the accommodations provided and do hope you consider our unit again for your future travels to the beautiful North Shore of Minnesota!"
