Overpriced!!

The pictures were accurate and not misleading. However, what should have been included in the overall description is that when you wash dishes you have to do them in buckets in the sink. Then take the buckets outside and dump the water. The note left by the host also said do not take long showers because the holding tank can fill up and a very loud siren will go off. RUSTIC should have been used quite often in the description so you know what to expect. The house was lovely, but for what we paid, this was a bit like camping!

5 Star Cabin!!

This is the perfect cabin!! Cheryl had thought of everything you might possibly need for your stay!! Very comfortable beds to sleep in, which is important for my husband as he never wants to sleep anywhere but his own bed. Loved the kayak, paddle boat and paddle board! Just a note that the lake was very shallow at the time we were there. Not able to take our fishing boat on it, which was no problem as our family had room on their dock on the big lake attached. But the shallow beach made it very safe for young ones to play in the water. The hill is quite steep if you have heavy coolers to carry. Very comfortable stay! Cheryl was very quick to respond with any questions we had. Will definitely stay here again!!!

Relaxing Cabin Stay

We( four adult friends) had a great stay at Cheryl’s cabin. The cabin was clean and had many of the basics needed. Comfy furniture and smart tv available. We enjoyed using the kayaks/paddle board. Great deck to hang out on and we ate all our meals outside as well. The lake was very quiet during the week days and was still pretty quiet on the weekend (rainy weekend). We would come back. Host was very responsive beforehand and was available if needed. One thing to note if you are thinking of renting. The hill to get down from the road where you park is definitely substantial and wouldn’t be recommended for anyone with bad knees, hips or ankles.
