Great gathering space
5/5 Girls' trip for 4 women of a certain age... we were able to spread out and each had a separate sleeping space, although some spots required a bit of a walk down the outside stairs or a walk through another bedroom to reach a bathroom. It worked great for us, though. Beds and linens all top quality, many extra blankets and pillows available. The kitchen was amazing! Beautiful, functional, and well stocked with utensils and cooking items. My friend Ruth only suggests a garlic press be added to the supply! We spent all our time around the kitchen island or out front at the cute patio set, watching the eagles over the lake and endless people/dog watching. Walkable to the marina and park area and lots of shops, plus the long trail along the water is literally on the front step. Lots of fun things to do along the river road on both sides - but we ended up spending more time in the house chatting and eating, than touring wineries or shopping. Host left a tray of homemade cookies and a warm welcome note for our arrival. We had no issues during our stay but definitely felt like we could make a quick call and get immediate help from real people. Quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Wedding weekend
5/5 Our daughter was married in Lake City. Our rental was perfect for us. The fresh baked cookies were great! Even used the location for a few photos of the wedding dress!

Amazing Cottage, amazing owners, 10/10
5/5 Cottage is perfect for what we were looking for! The view is nothing short of perfect! Property owners extremely friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend staying here, everything you could ask for for a weekend getaway or longer.

What a View!
5/5 My family stayed for a long weekend and it was perfect. The walkability to everything was a plus and the view out the front was incredible. We walked to the beach, park, restaurants, shops and the grocery store. We drove to Lark Toys and the Eagle Center one day and then to the Smiling Pelican and a lavender farm the next day along with a hike in Maiden Rock. The host was very easy to communicate with and the VRBO was nicely stocked with everything needed in the kitchen. I highly recommend this place.
