Overall the house was good and had plenty of space for our group.
Mattresses are in need of replacing.
The home suited our needs very well. We enjoyed a long weekend in Duluth visiting a college student. It was nice to come home to the same place for games and more time together.
Enjoy this home and location, we will be back!!!
Cute location for a girls night. Just far enough from town to feel like you're in the country, but also close enough that if you need anything it's only a 5 minute drive away.

This home is old. The musty smell hit us right when we entered. We had to air it out. It’s not very “updated” at all. No nightstands in all the bedrooms, which would be an easy fix. We used chairs from the kitchen. No curtains on most of the windows. The curtains that are there are see through. We felt on display. Nowhere to change upstairs without feeling like someone could see in. It was a nice area and close to some good eateries and shopping. The very minimum has been done to make this rentable. The price should reflect that. Almost $1100 for two nights was a bit much for what you’re getting. One bed in the basement caves in the middle. Nobody used that room. Dirty floors in bathroom. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Hi Alecia, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark, and after sending your feedback to the homeowner, they’d like to share the following:
- The home was renovated in 2020 to maintain its character and align with the neighborhood, and the photos are an accurate reflection of the property’s condition.
- We appreciate your suggestion about adding nightstands, and we’ll work on incorporating them in all bedrooms for future guests.
- The property is on a private 2-acre lot, and while some guests prefer the sheer curtains for natural light and views, we understand your concern and will reassess window coverings to offer more privacy.
- We apologize for the musty smell and cleanliness issues you encountered. While the home is thoroughly cleaned before each stay, we’ll follow up with the cleaning team to ensure future guests have a fresher experience. If we had been notified during your stay, we could have addressed the bathroom floors right away.
Thanks for taking the time to leave your review!
