• Absolutely horrible - do not book

  Overall, the house is misrepresented and one of the worst rental houses I've ever stayed in. First, and perhaps most problematic, is that the house was advertised as having queen beds (one of the largest factors in our decision making) and a pull out couch. There isn't a single queen bed in the house (they are all doubles) and there also isn't a pull out couch. That's simply false advertising. Additionally, the bedroom upstairs was so cold, it was unusable. The curtains were billowing in the wind and it was under 30 degrees outside. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOUSE.

  Additional issues:

  The house was filthy. There were used and dirty towels in a closet. The comforters are dirty and unclean. The hot tub wasn't cleaned properly and was full of dirt. The couch had crumbs all over it and under the cushions. The uncleanliness was also illustrated by looking at our socks after walking around in the house -- they were all black.

  Most of the dishes were dirty and there aren't enough dishes for the amount of people this house is supposed accommodate

  There are no kitchen towels

  There are no blinds on any of the windows

  The stairs leading to the house aren't salted and one person in our party slipped on the ice

  There are light bulbs out in various places throughout the house.

  A few cabinet doors are falling off

  Cigarette butts and an empty box of cigarettes in the back by the hot tub

  There aren't enough bath towels for the amount of people this house is supposed to accommodate

  No instructions on how to get into the garage for parking of cars (as advertised)

  There is a step down in the living room that isn't properly marked and is a hazard.

  The mattresses are absolutely awful.

  In addition to all of this, the owner reached out to me and asked if a realtor could enter the house in the middle of our reservation and when I said no, she was audibly upset. Because I wouldn't allow this, she also refused to allow us a late check out of an hour (11 am). It's clear the owners are just trying to sell this house and there is no care or consideration for guests. Evolve did give a small refund, but not nearly the amount we expected for all of this. We won't be using them to book a place again either.

• Great Basic Stay

  We had a great stay at this location. We did arrive at the heat being turned off (inside temp was 49!), but it served it's purpose. Great Amenities. No traffic noise inside the house, given the proximity to a major intersection.
