A great time with great people
4/5 My wedding party and I had a great time here. We were married at the Indian Springs Metropark Discovery Center and it was a 30 min drive which made for a great home-base for everyone.
It had enough beds for everyone and a firepit/large outdoor space that we used often.
I would give 5 stars but all of the outdoor furniture/boat was dry rotted and not very well cared for. There was also food in the fridge from previous tenants that I swear created it's own biome in the 2nd refrigerator.
Overall, happy with the experience.

3/5 Positives:Nice setting, clean enough, beds were comfortable, enjoyed kayaks and canoeNegatives:Multiple code violations: 1 visible smoke detector, hot water heater not working/grounded, gas stove wouldn't light, insufficient pots and pans, master bedroom didn't have clean towels (had to wash wet /dirty towels), no hair dryers, no directions on how to close up house, leaking ceiling in kitchen,pontoon boat not working

JUST WONDERFUL
5/5 Our host was a great communicator, she answered every question we had very quickly. The house was clean and well-prepared for our stay. We enjoyed every moment and are looking forward to a return trip.
Beautiful lake retreat
4/5 We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the lake house. We wish we could have stayed longer. Destiny was a gracious host. We enjoyed using the canoe and kayaks. Wondering if there were any way to use the pontoon boat. Maybe next time? This is a great place for a large family retreat. Just bring bottled water.
