This house is a 45 minute drive to Torch Lake and a 1 hour drive to the Sleeping Bear Dunes. The drive was easy and went fast. The town is very small and has a cute downtown area. There is a really nice coffee/drink place we walked to called Latitude 44 not far off. There is also a campground right down the road with a lake and a Veteran’s park with horseshoe pits. I’d bring your own horseshoes because it looks like they lock them up the out building pretty early. The bed in the master bedroom was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. I fell asleep and didnt move until I woke up the next morning. There is a massage chair in the master as well which was a nice surprise.

The property was as described in the listing, kitchen was stocked well enough with the basics needed, okay cleanliness, the property manager was very responsive to help us check in when the code didn’t work. Some information (check in code/WiFi) provided upon booking wasn’t accurate but was able to be figured out or provided by property manager upon request. Worked well for the stay we were looking for and appreciate the responsiveness of the property owners and manager.
