  • Family Ski Weekend

    5/5

I booked this cabin because of the number of beds, sleep areas and proximity to Ski Brule. We loved that our kids would have their own space and they appreciated it as well. We were planning a ski weekend. Shortly after booking, I came across a negative review which caused concern. I decided to cancel the booking. The next day, Scott reached out to me and asked if we could talk because he was concerned I cancelled due to that review. I admitted it was the reason. Working in the service industry and knowing there are two sides to every story, I heard him out and felt that if he took the time to personally reach out to me and do his best to ensure a positive experience, I would give the cabin a chance.

Scott reached out before our trip and again on check in day to see how things were going. We arrived late Thursday night and there were lights left on for us inside and outside the cabin to make unpacking much easier. Friday, I reached out to Scott with a few questions and he was very prompt at responding.

There are brand new mattresses in the two bedrooms downstairs. Scott had told us they were Memory Foam. They were very comfortable. Traditionally, I wake up a little stiff the first morning after I have slept on a different mattress but that wasn't the case on this one.

This cabin was just what we needed to spend the weekend as a family enjoying games, cards, puzzles, skiing and the wonderful fireplace. We are hoping to book this side by side cabin again next year for a bigger family ski weekend.

Thank you for your hospitality Scott, we truly enjoyed our time. Your attentiveness to ensure a positive stay is more than appreciated. We look forward to working with you in the future.

  • Location, location location

    3/5

Our trip was nice and you can’t get any better of a location. We were able to ski and walk back to the house for lunch. The property manager was very good with preparing us for our arrival and checking in after we left. The beds were not comfortable and should be replaced. The house sleeps as listed but it is tight quarters in the kitchen and living area so you really need to like the people you travel with. It was our first time at Ski Brule and we were a party of 8 and we all agreed next year we need a slightly bigger home for our group.
