Beautiful Property
4/5 This property is lovely, ample space to fit 10 people, well stocked with cooking utensils, spices, coffee, games, books, fire kindling for the pit, ample seating for outside for a large group, and the view of Lake Michigan is wonderful. There is a space at the bottom of the stairs for kids to play in the sand. The deck and stairs are well cared for, we reached out to the contact for an early check in and we were able to arrive early. Tv offered options for watching, Nintendo wii in basement with 2nd tv.
Fyi, the deck does not have a railing overlooking the dune portion for anyone with young kids, my son hit the sand on the last six stairs down to the breakwall area and rolled the rest of the way down, there was no injury other than scratches but after that, I was very nervous about him being near the top of the stairs or the deck portion overlooking the water before going down. Only a concern for those with young ones.
Cons: one cupboard would not stay closed over the counter, the pantry cupboard door kept falling off, and the propane grill did not work.

Great location for blueberry picking and watching sunsets on the deck behind the garage
4/5 This is a modest home, with no beach access, but a nice view of Lake Michigan from the deck behind the garage. Good location for picking blueberries at several of the many blueberry farms in the area and for visiting the many nearby beaches/parks.
Lakehouse
5/5 Had a fantastic stay at the Lakehouse with a group of 6. House was well setup; great set up in the kitchen, plenty of pots/pan/skillet for easy cooking. Bathrooms were well set up with plenty of towels, even shampoo/body wash in the shower. The pictures don't do the view justice. Spent each night watching the sunset from the short walk to the back deck. House was well maintained, would rent this again for sure.

5/5 Had a wonderful stay with a beautiful view. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
