  We stayed here as a family of five for a weekend in Detroit. It was a great location and about 20 minutes from what we chose to do. The pictures are accurate and the house is well stocked. The space was clean and easy to use.

• Just right

  We were visiting the area and the house was perfect for this stay. Cozy but not cramped. The kitchen was well stocked (although the pans need some updating). The house was clean (the main level shower needs some attention). The living room was very comfortable and the two downstairs bedrooms were just right. Very firm and comfortable beds. Our only complaint was that upstairs (the King room) did not get warm. There was an electric plug in heater but it didn't keep the room warm enough. Luckily we didn't have to go upstairs at all, except to use the bathroom. There was plenty of parking and the neighbors seemed very nice. We would stay here again, beats a hotel.

• Cozy stay for Christmas

  This house was perfectly cozy for our stay in Michigan visiting family for the holidays. We chose this property because it was equidistant between our families homes. I've read in other reviews that the front stairs were an issue, but they were repaired and safe for us.

  When we arrived checkin was super easy and the place smelled wonderful and was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfy, everyone had their own room (another bonus as our kids share a room at home.)

  We have 2 children and the SMART TV was another bonus, you can just log in to all your streaming services. The TV (streaming shows) froze a lot but that's probably a downfall of streaming and can't be helped, no biggie...the Wifi worked great and didn't have issues with that. I will say if you have to do grocery shopping do yourself a favor and don't go to the nearby Kroger's, it was an exercise in patience and futility, think DMV at it's worst. That being said I would definitely stay here again. The house is really cozy and had everything we needed. Thank you!

  Unfortunately we arrived later in the night and the home had a musty moldy smell as soon as we walked in. There was blood stain sheets on the master bedroom there was no hot water upstairs in the master bathroom, the area rugs were slip hazards and the floor felt like you would fall straight threw it. Not at all what it looked like on the app.

  Overall the house was clean and spacious. The kitchen was updated, however it did need a regular coffee pot (drip type) and a toaster. The neighborhood was very well maintained and pretty. The neighbors were friendly and helpful. The biggest negative were the front steps. The concrete was probably crumbling on them, someone had placed wooden boards over each step and covered them with outdoor carpeting. We felt they were a little unsafe especially with the two small children in our group. If in the area again we would probably look to renting this property again.
