Good bang for your buck property right near Sunday River. Plenty of space for a big group, and lots of unique antiques to look at. A well loved home with a museum feel.

Great location to enjoy skiing at Sunday River. Some fun local spots in Bethel and Newry are just a short drive as well. The Butcher Burger is amazing! Our host, Seth, was beyond helpful and attentive the entire time. We had a great time.
This was a very interesting house. I agree with some of the other reviewers that the pictures do not accurately show the state of the home...it does definitely come across as a combination of an antique store and a plant nursery. There is an insane amount of 'antiques' and unique items that are literally everywhere in the home.
That being said, the house was pretty clean, in close proximity to Sunday River, and an incredible value. Had a chance to speak with the owner while we were there, he seemed like a genuinely nice guy and was very hospitable.
Overall, as long as you understand that there is a LOT more 'stuff' in the home than the pictures portray, then it is a fine place to stay. We agreed that we would return again in the future, the next time we find ourselves going to Sunday River.
