• Unacceptable!

  Upon arrival, we walked in the door to a big black bug smashed on the ceiling. Floor in kitchen hadn’t been wiped up in who knows how long.

  Pots were (very)rusty and fry pan had a thick layer of burn on it.

  Pillows very soiled and blood stains on them and were very very flat and old! (I have photos of all of this and more to back up my findings!

  Two bedrooms. One bedroom had no dresser or a place to put clothes. All but the kitchen closet where the brooms and vacuum were stored were locked. I guess this is where the host expects his “guests” to hang their clothes!!!! (In the dirty broom closet).

  Mold and dirt on the window ledges. Hot tub not usable and neglected. The busiest highway is the 302 that is about 30 feet from the house, NOISY? Yes, but he did mention that in his listing.

  I truly believe someone lives in this unit when not rented and stores their belongings in the locked closets. There are many picture hanging tapes empty on the walls and personal food in the refrigerator along with personal toiletries in the cabinet.

  This “host” has total disregard for his guests! When I reached out to him, he blames his house keeper and myself for poor communication!

  I’ve never felt so disregarded and unappreciated as a guest, ever.

  - The hot tub is regularly maintained and was confirmed to be usable, though we apologize if this was not your experience
  - There are multiple new pillows available for guests, and the older backup pillows have since been removed
  - The kitchen is stocked with plenty of new pots and pans, and any older items have been discarded

  Comfortable stay at a reasonable rate. I was a little surprised to find the home my be lived in during the week.

  Refrigerator had rotting food and the shower had old soap and hair.

  Was hopeful to have the hot tub. Be aware to read the property description. I missed the part he says not available this time of year.

Unfortunately, my usual cleaning crew was on vacation so I hired someone new and was unable to check the home before you arrived since I was also on vacation.

• Fryeburg Fair Trip

  My husband and I rented from Ryan for a long weekend to go to the Fryeburg Fair which was apx 30minute ride. Place was wicked clean and in a great location. Close to the center of Bridgton which has cool little shops and a few restaurants. This rental is on a main road but we barely heard any traffic from cars and trucks driving by. I love sitting in the hot tub after waking around the fair all day. The only draw back is there isn't a table next to the hot tub to place my drink but I managed. I would definitely rent from Ryan again if I needed to stay in the area. I left my favorite Red Sox baseball hat at the rental and he offered to mail it back to me.

• Great, spot in town.

  This was a great spot to have our elderly parents to stay while visiting us. Very clean.Our only suggestion would be to put handles on the kitchen cabinets.
