While a language barrier appears to have played a factor in addressing your needs, upon learning of your concerns, we immediately sent our cleaning team to deliver additional linens and towels to make your stay more comfortable.

  Very quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to the beach. We brought our own chairs but they had a wagon for us to use to bring to the beach which was convenient. It was a 30 minute drive to Portland, less to get to Old Orchard Beach and Kennebunkport so we got to visit a bunch of towns without staying in a crowded beach town.

• Excellent house for multigenerational family vacation

  Stayed here for a week with my husband's family. Total of 6 adults and 4 children (ages 6 months to 4 years). Plenty of space. The grandparents appreciated being able to escape the apartment above the garage. Pretty well stocked for our group but would have run short on towels if we had the full number the house could hold. Outdoor shower helpful for rinsing off after the beach. An outdoor clothesline for all the wet swimsuits and towels would have been helpful. Plenty of fans plus 4 window AC units (one in the main living room, one in the bunk room, one in one of the queen beds and one in the living room of the in-law) helped beat the heat. Washer and dryer always helpful when traveling with small kids. Short walk to hills beach. Short drive to fortunes rocks beach. Lovely welcome basket with snacks and list of local attractions. Would stay again

• Comfy, spacious and steps from Hills Beach!

  Our stay was lovely. The house was comfortable, clean, and spacious enough for our extended family, including 3 toddlers. The bedrooms are big and we appreciated having linens and towels. It took moments to get to Hills Beach and it was close enough if we needed to run back for something we forgot.

  An outdoor shower with cold AND hot water made it convenient to wash up before heading into the house. The street the house is on is quiet and safe.

  A good kitchen, two attached dining areas, two living rooms, a sun room, and outdoor patio and lawn made it easy for our family to spread out. Also, the in-law suite was very comfortable with an open kitchen, dining, and living area, and a nice deck off of this. There were also two bedrooms and full bathroom.

  All three of the bathrooms were stocked with towels and other personal items; the first-floor bath had a washer & dryer.

  Thanks for a great stay!
