Nice little cottage

Idyllic getaway
5/5 This really is a hidden gem. Located in a quiet, friendly, and unique neighborhood. We’ve traveled to St Micheals area previously but this was our first time staying a little farther out and with our two small children. The home has a wonderfully well kept park with a lovely playground literally off the backyard. The deck area is very relaxing, and backs up to a tranquil wooded area. The front porch overlooks the water (though access is about a mile away). It’s all very restful and throughtfully arranged for guests. Lots of joggers and dog walkers and most people are generally respectful of the reduced speeds and small roads. We enjoyed our time and the kids got a kick out of having bunnies in the backyard and turtles crossing the road. Very sweet.
As is common in the country there are a quite a few big bugs both inside and outside the home. Probably a good spray down of the perimeter would take care of this. Otherwise, the home was thoughtfully organized with many amenities provided to keep guests comfortable.
