Brief visit to my hometown for Christmas
5/5 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer than 2 nights. The owner was very responsive with any needs or questions we had. The 1941 cottage was charming, comfortable, clean and quiet and very conveniently located . We primarily were there during the evening so I can't speak for using the kitchen or backporch outdoor space but our bed was comfortable, we slept well and the shower hot ! I hope that one day this can be a pet friendly vacation home because we were sad to not have our sweet Golden Retriever travel with us and we would definitely stay here again if that were possible because the Cumberland area is lacking in nice pet friendly places to stay.

First timer.
5/5 We booked this property with the event of the polar express planned on Saturday. We checked in Friday night and the house was wonderful. I really enjoyed the journal that was left to write notes about guests stay. I thought there would be a lot more to do in town but we couldn’t find much of anything of interest at the time, so we ended up leaving early Saturday evening.
