  • Some Issues


    This house consists of 2 units (addresses 18 & 20) & we rented the left side (as you look at the building from the road). The unit is about 450 Sq Ft. Kitchen and bathroom are quite small (1-person). Our unit had fairly new Lennox remote-control wall mounted A/C units in the LR & BR but BR did not work (despite my spending over an hour trying different solutions to get it to work), so sleeping at night in BR with high humidity was very uncomfortable even with unit in LR running. Provided Keurig coffee maker did not work either. Contacted number to report next morning and management company person (very nice young woman) arrived in late afternoon, but was unable to correct either problem before we left (3-nights). TV is a smart TV that uses internet streaming, so if you are used to cable service/box, it is not very easy to figure out how to navigate......minimal instructions provided.

    This is our 1st (& maybe only) experience with Vrbo. This rental is advertised as $162 avg/night. Our 3 nights totaled close to $300/night or almost $900. Besides taxes Vrbo adds on 2 items that totaled close to $400 (one is called a Host Fee). Based on previous 3 years staying on the Cape after Labor Day, we could have stayed on a beach front location for that amount.

    - We wanted the AC to be fixed by an authorized repair person and unfortunately, they had a waiting period. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. They have now fixed the issue and the AC is fully functional.
    - I was not aware that the coffee machine was broken so we will be replacing it right away. We do have a brand new smart TV for our guests to enjoy. We wish you had reached out to the Guest Contact during your stay about troubleshooting the TV.
    - Vrbo strives to be transparent with guests at every stage of the booking process and breaks down all rates and fees before the reservation is confirmed. All taxes and fees are clearly outlined by Vrbo at check-out before guests need to confirm payment.
    - Vrbo sets industry competitive prices based on the property and surrounding area and they use a dynamic pricing algorithm, which can fluctuate depending on the time of year or holiday season.
    - We apologize if you didn't feel the stay was a good value. Your feedback assists us in understanding our guests' perspectives and improving wherever possible. Thank you for sharing your review!
