The property was clean and neat and the house furnishings were very eclectic. The kitchen table only seats three, but if you are there in the summer there are plenty of tables and chairs outside on the deck. Nice view to the water but no beach at the end of the road. We were there in late November and there was no heat in the kitchen and in one of the bedrooms. If you are over 5’9” you cannot stand up straight in the bathrooms, as the ceilings are very low. My husband is 6’4” tall, so that was uncomfortable for him. Both bathrooms need updating and a new toilet seat is needed in the downstairs bathroom, as well as a new threshold to the shower. Both are permanently stained.
The mattresses were comfortable and the bedding attractive. The kitchen is very nice and newly renovated.
The location is very convenient to downtown Scituate.

We stayed here for my daughter’s wedding at The Barker House. It was a perfect location and the home was spotless.

We enjoyed our stay. The BBQ propane was hard to operate and may need a new propane bottle. Thanks for fixing the door lock for us.

The house was great for a large famiy to stay in. Some things could have been cleaner and we were left very little toilet paper for a week stay. The showers have very short ceilings and anyone over 5'5" struggled with this. The location could not be beat, the beach was two houses away and the town of was beautiful.
