Worth the stay! House is as listed and spacious. Fantastic for groups or larger families. Kitchen has all you need. Screened in porch out front is nice in the evening to relax. Plenty of space in the back yard. Game room has 8-ball and a piano, along with a small bar and gas fire place. Property manager is quick to reply and very helpful. No issues at all on site and check in/out is smooth.

The house is very nice and spacious. We were traveling with our son's family with 4 small children so, the space was appreciated. Location is perfect, close to Stockbridge and Great Barrington. The kids enjoyed walking the bike path to town. Kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed the private yard for the children to pay in. Rolling down the hill was a favorite for the kids.
Centrally located, walking distance to a brewery. Clean, well maintained and very spacious

Upon arrival, it was clear that this house has a gorgeous layout. It is extremely spacious, well decorated, and has beautiful grounds. We love that it was set back from the main road and then we could walk to an antique store and bike path at the end of the driveway. We had a lot of fun during our vacation, and the house was definitely part of it. I found the home/bathrooms/kitchen to be clean, despite prior reviews. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable to sleep in. We had a couple of minor gripes. For example, there is no peeler or cutting boards in the kitchen. The home doesn’t compost or recycle. And, the fireplace doesn’t function. We had two major safety concerns which led me to take off two stars. The front door does not bolt from the inside. There is a latch, but it doesn’t work properly. So, anybody who knows the code to the house could enter at any time. Also, the bath tub in the master bathroom has a dangerous drain. My five year old got her hair caught in it and was almost drowned. We had to cut her hair to get her out of the water.

Hi Kate, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- Thank you for showing your appreciation for our home, we're glad that you enjoyed your overall stay but disappointed that we missed the mark.
- We wish you had reached out to the Guest Contact during your stay, we would have been more than happy to address any issues or concerns that you may have had during your stay.
- We were surprised by the comment that there weren't any cutting boards, we have multiple cutting boards for guest use that are kept in the bottom cabinet next to the stove.
- Our guest safety is our number one priority, we will have our maintenance team take a look at the deadbolt to determine why it wasn't working and repair it if needed.
- The bathtub drain is a standard pop-up, but we're very sorry to hear your daughter's hair got caught, we will look into providing a plastic cover for it.
We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
This house was absolutely perfect for our family gathering! The house is in a convenient location, near shops and downtown, but is set back and quiet. The grounds are nicely groomed with a sweeping lawn and wonderful views, and the interior was clean and welcoming. It’s roomy, with airy spaces with lots of places to gather and sit for our large family, including a long dining table where 12 of us sat comfortably for a fantastic reunion-dinner. There are wonderful outdoor living spaces, including a large comfy screened in porch with chairs and rocking chairs, to sit and chat. Our brother-in-law played the amazing grand piano (which was in tune!!) and we all enjoyed the pool table — fully set up with cues and chalk. Karen is a responsive host- she answered every message I sent immediately and was extremely kind and accommodating. We recommend this home highly!!! We’re definitely hoping to return and enjoy the house again in the future.
