• Convenient and Beautiful

  My daughter and I stayed here while we attended an event at the Kentucky Horse Park. It is conveniently located and in a beautiful setting surrounded by horses and green paddocks. John and Debbie are very friendly and helpful. Was lovely to see all the fouls that were born in the weeks before we got there.

• Fall Trip

  My husband and I decided on Lexington for our fall getaway. He enjoys bourbon & I love horses, so this was the best for both worlds. We LOVED staying on this property and walking around visiting the horses each day. The location was convenient to all of the things we had planned ; Old Friends (highly recommend) Bourbon & Keeneland. The peaceful surroundings and countryside views beat a hotel any day of the week! We will definitely be back again.

• Charming cottage on breathtaking working horse farm!

  It has always been a dream of mine to stay on a horse farm in horse country! This beautiful property exceeded my expectations!! The cottage is decorated beautifully with equestrian themed details that add to the charm of the property! We enjoyed our morning coffee while watching the horses graze steps away on the most gorgeous grounds with rolling green pasture and spectacular autumn colors! We did not want to leave.

  Upon arrival we checked the cleanliness of the home including the bed.

  We found mouse feces in the bed. We immediately called the host who did not have another property available but insured us he would refund our money spent.

  We called the EVOLVE TEAM according to instructions only to receive an email stating because we did not follow proper procedures they could not refund our payment to them in the amount of $484.62. We had to get another hotel costing us another $400!

  Hi Maureen, we always appreciate honest and constructive feedback, but after talking with the homeowner, we'd like to clarify the following points:
  - We use a cleaning service to professionally clean the home before each guests stay. After each cleaning is completed an inspection of the property is conducted. We can confirm 15 minutes before your arrival the home was inspected thoroughly and no issues were found. 
  - As soon as you made us aware of your concerns we promptly responded, and although surprised by your claims, we stated that a full refund would be provided upon supporting documentation, which we did not receive. We immediately sent our cleaning team back to the home to further investigate. We were surprised that upon their arrival you had already departed which was only within a few short minutes of you making your report. Further investigation of the home determined there was no evidence of mice in or around the home, and so the refund was denied.
  We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

  We felt very safe, comfortable and pleased with our stay at this location. We met John and enjoyed talking with him several times. He invited us to watch as his vet pregnancy tested the mares and that was very interesting. Our view on the hill was lovely overlooking the pastures as mares and their foals grazed. There was a beautiful sunrise one morning as the fog was low to the ground. Awesome. We were in Lexington to watch our granddaughter ride in her first National Pony Finals at Kentucky Horse Park. Our daughter and family also stayed at another location on the property. It was very convenient to the horse park. If we come to Lexington again we will most definitely stay here again.
