Quirky House
4/5 At first glance this house seemed to invite adventure. That turned out to be true. We entered through the back door to find a lovely kitchen with all the necessary requirements and more...all except adequate counter space. Walking through the 1st floor we discovered a bath/laundry room with a small shower. There was no counter or shelving to hold personal items but the space was adequate. The "chair room" was large enough to hold an enormous chair with ottoman and a small table with lamp. The living room was comfortable but needed more seating. The dining room had plenty of seating for our foursome. The downstairs bedroom had a comfortable bed, a recliner, a desk. It would have been nice to have a dresser. The half bath was beautiful. High ceilings, tall windows, and artwork gave the house character. The gorgeous staircase led to 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with a tub.Overall, the house was more than adequate to our needs.
