Went to the Ark Encounter which was a bit of a drive. Staying at this cabin was worth the drive because just hung out and relaxed. Would stay again. Thanks for living up to the listing. Beautiful property.

  • Quiet, clean & plenty to do!

Lots of space inside and out. Close enough to town but just far enough out for the country feel. Clean property, clean house!

  • Bliss in the bluegrass

My siblings and I planned a getaway weekend and this was the perfect location. We loved that we could bring our dogs. There was tons to do outside at the cabin! We could have happily stayed there all day long just relaxing and hanging out. We did go hiking at red river gorge and it was about 25 minutes to get there. My 2 year old loved being here too and was toddler proof. He especially loved the wrap around deck. We will definitely be coming back.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! Everything was as listed. I was able to make full meals for dinner each night and we loved using the griddle on the back deck! Bill was great to work with as well.

  • Literally Perfect!

I was a bit nervous as this was my first time booking through VRBO... I couldn't have been more pleased with this property and everything about it. The owner was extremely pleasant, responsive an easy to communicate with. Check in was effortless, it was immaculate in terms of cleanliness and they truly thought of everything... bug spray, batteries, soaps, etc. There was so much to do at the cabin... we loved fixing breakfast on the outdoor griddle, enjoyed relaxing on the HUGE back porch, played pickleball, volleyball, ping pong, tetherball and love hanging around on the slack line! Easy access to the river made kayaking a breeze and allowed for some relaxing time fishing. Family nights by the fire or indoors playing games was a perfect way to unwind. The cabin was conveniently located near many fun attractions! Our family spent the week kayaking in a cave, ziplining, hiking, enjoying the Daniel Boone National Forest and playing in the falls at Mills Creek Lake. I'm so glad we planned plenty of down time to enjoy the cabin... we could have stayed all week without additional activities and been entertained. Our kids range from 21 to 8 and they all equally loved the cabin. Overall, we highly recommend booking this rental and can't wait to go back!
