  • Short Stay Because of Flood

    5/5

We enjoyed the one day we were there. House and grounds were beautiful and we were looking to 4 days of hanging out with our family. Until the rains came! That night we had loud thunder and close lightening like we've never experienced before. The very solid house even shook! The next morning the river was high and kept getting higher. The manager came and told us we had better evacuate so we could avoid getting stranded there.

  • Best place we have stayed in years

    5/5

The property was way more than expected! Wonderful cabin with anything you could think of on hand. The kids loved all of the games there at the cabin. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to bring the whole family! Parents, children and dogs!! Look forward to coming back!! ❤️ You could have a full relaxing and fun vacation without even leaving the property! We did venture down the river on the kayaks and did some hiking at RRG…I can’t say enough good things about the place!

  • Quiet Cabin in Beautiful Kentucky

    5/5

We absolutely loved this cabin. It’s the right amount of cozy with still having lots to do around the property. Families with kids of all ages will love it here. Our kids(4 & 7) loved the slack line by the pond. Roasting marshmallows in the evening by the fire pit was lovely. We ate our dinner out there a couple of times too. The wrap around deck is awesome. My son’s favorite thing to do was running at full speed around the porch. Beattyville is a small town close to all the hikes and other fun you will want to do. We went on 3 of the easier hikes with our young kiddos(Angel Windows, Whistling Arch, and Rock Bridge). Rock Bridge has a very rewarding swimming hole at the end. The Brick ice cream place is yummy and a good treat right out of the Daniel Boone National Forest. We will definitely be back to this area and this cabin. The pictures don’t do the property justice. Thank you Bill!
