Hidden gem
4/5 We wanted to get away from the fireworks because of our dogs and this was a great place. Many lake activities and fun little restaurants close by. Great host and owners. Very comfortable and extremely dog friendly. We will return.
Great cabin!
5/5 Loved this little get away in the woods. Definitely out of the way! Great facilities/equipment, great host, easy check in, great check in directions. Sleeping areas are small- loft has about a 4'-5' ceiling and not a lot of walking space around the master bed. Technically sleeps 6 but it would be a tight 6 (and only one bathroom). 2 Adults and 2 kiddos, no problem.
Went hiking at Crossed Timbers State Park- highly recommend the Overlook Trail- and went down to Elk River to hike the #1 rated trail in Kansas, the Elk River trail. 10/10 would recommend.
