In Town for Cattle Show at Douglas County Fairgrounds
5/5 This property fit our group to a tee! There were 4 females: 2 teenagers and 2 adults--not family. Property is a duplex with 4 bedrooms, each with their own full bath. This made our early morning departures so much easier as everyone could get ready at the same time! Property is less than 10 minutes from the Fairgrounds.

Comfortable accomodations
4/5 Unit was clean, organized,comfortable and centrally located. There were some notable problems. However. Turns out the property manager is the cleaning lady. We had an issue with parking - unit was advertised as having a 2 car garage with additional parking on the driveway for additional cars. Upon our arrival, an occupant of another unit had parked so as to block access to the garage. Notifying the property manager, she said there was nothing she could do about it and she suggested that I speak to the other occupant, which I did but he refused to move his car.
So there was no garage access for a weekend stay. The unit also is in need of minor maintenance. The garage door code did not work and the interior thermostat kept flashing low battery until it quit and we had to buy batteries to get the a/c working again. We didn't check the smoke alarm but we felt that there had been no regular check for updating on that either. Property manager subsequently became unavailable for the weekend - did not respond to any phone calls.
