This was one of the very best places we have ever stayed! All the details made it feel so at home. The hosts were so sweet, and welcoming. We loved all the animals, and the fresh goodies they shared. The buggy ride was also amazing. We can't wait to come back again!
Stayed here for a few days while my daughter visited extended family. Unfortunately the weather was not spring like at all for March however it was still a pleasant space. Fresh milk and eggs were very nice to have. Hoping to maybe visit in the warmer months.
Our weekend getaway was just perfect. Thank you to our wonderful hosts, Thomas and Rhoda, for making us feel right at home. The cherry pie, fresh milk (and cream), bread, and farm-fresh eggs were all fantastic and very much appreciated. This place is a true gem. We loved every minute!

Owner's Response: "We’re glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you’ll visit again! You left everything in great condition."
We didn't realize when we booked, that this was on a working Mennonite Farm in the middle of a beautiful Amish/Mennonite area, in upper Indiana. Our hosts were wonderful! They gave us fresh milk and eggs, ground beef and refreshing cold herbal tea. Totally unexpected! Although the cottage has no WI-FI or TV, there is good cell service. It was relaxing to have no TV for a week! Our accommodations were open studio, quiet, clean and filled with cozy country decor, including a gas fireplace. The apartment sized kitchen area was easy to prepare meals, we also has an outdoor grill and small private seating area, surrounded by flowers. If you like cats, they had 4 kittens who were very eager to be friends and sleep in your laps. Our hosts also arranged for their Amish neighbor to give is a ride in his buggy. Definitely will rebook the next time we visit our kids!
Hi Yvette, this homeowner has asked us to pass along the following response: "We loved having you and hope we see you again soon!"
