  Host had good communication and answered all questions promptly. Property listing was accurate. Host was respectful of our privacy. It was a very quiet place. I would recommend a fan for guest use as it was stuffy at night with temp controlled elsewhere. Also would recommend a railing for the concrete stairway leading down to rental as we were concerned about slipping/falling esp. with carrying suitcases. Please consider changing out the LED lights on stairway. They shine right in your eyes and make it difficult to see going up or downs stairs, which makes a fall hazard as well.

• Nice and Quite but………..

  The room was large and spacious. Private entry with a large backyard. However the space lacked a stove, temperature control, and WiFi. The space temperature is controlled from elsewhere and made it uncomfortable late at night. The living space furniture is old and broken, be carefully how you sit on the couch. The tv is very small and not smart. The house is on well water and a septic tank system so sometimes the smell takes you aback.

  The larger of the two beds is very old and uncomfortable! The bed in the spare room was way more comfortable but small for two average size people. Great place to lay your head and rest but that’s about it. The likelihood of me staying here again would be very slim but would do in a pinch.

  Hi Patric, we’re sorry your stay fell short of expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  - While a stove isn't featured in the listing description or the photos, we apologize that the VRBO website had it listed as an amenity. We have corrected it.
  - The listing does state that WiFi is currently unavailable.
  - The temperature is maintained remotely, and we encourage our guests to reach out while in residence to have it changed to be more comfortable.
  - We have replaced a loose screw in the sectional couch.
  - We have also replaced the queen mattress, which we found to be a bit dated.
  - The water is well and septic, and we have a whole house filtration and water softening system installed. Periodically, there may be a slight smell when you first turn on the water but should go away after it runs for about 30 seconds.
  - We currently change the filter in the filtration system every five months, but we will move that up to every three to four months to further minimize the periodic slight smell of hard water.
