Terrible Owner
1/5 This was a terrible experience as we didn't actually get to stay at the property. When my family (wife and 10-year old daughter) arrived after a 5-hour drive, we picked up the key from the lockbox, walked into the unit and immediately realized that someone was staying there. Needless to say we left and put the key back in the lockbox.We called the Guest Contact listed on our reservation, left a message with her about the situation, and still to this day (the day we drove home) have never received a call from her. We then called the management company and they were helpful (even after a 20 minute wait to talk to someone). The rep I spoke with checked on the property and did not see another reservation. He told me that he was going to contact the property owner to see if they knew anything.After about another 20-30 minutes, we did receive a call back from a supervisor who was very nice. He had spoken with the owner, who was actually staying there, and was told that the owner had called the company to cancel the reservation that we had as they were planning on staying there. He told me that they had no record of a contact with the owner. He was very apologetic and immediately refunded us our money.Fortunatly, we were able to find a hotel room for the night and were able to book another property for the weekend, which turned out very nice. Sun Valley is great!However, I would strongly advise to avoid this property at all costs. Clearly the owner does not care and my family could have easily ended up with nowhere to stay. Avoid, avoid, avoid this rental!

They did reach out to us before your stay, and we dropped the ball on notifying you about the cancelation before your arrival. We know that this isn't acceptable and are increasing our staffing & training to make sure that this doesn't happen again. The owner does take the experience of their guests seriously, and we're confident that upcoming travelers can look forward to a great stay at this property!
