Summer vacation
5/5 We had a wonderful stay at Rocky Mountain Elk Ranch. The setting is outstanding and the owners were great to work with. Being that the property is off grid, I was anticipating some potential hiccups, but we had no problems, and were even able to get some work done with the wifi that is available. I recommend the ranch to anyone who is interested in this type of experience.
nice place, but far from Yellowstone
4/5 The lodging was great. Room to fit 4 families totaling 14. Lodge was as presented in photos.. Hosts were very communicative on directions, grocery shopping (do it BEFORE you arrive as they tell you -- we did and glad we did) and other things.A few items of note:this is not close to Yellowstone. About 90 minutes FYIThere is no air conditioningProbably best suited for hunters which I think is the main reason it exists.

Amazing cabin
5/5 Easy to access and the cabin was beautiful. The views were also amazing! We saw moose, elk, and other wildlife. The owner was easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again. We didn't get to see Yellowstone because it was closed due to flooding, but when we come back we will get this home again.

Incredible setting
5/5 Loved our stay on the ranch. The setting was incredible and the cabin was perfect! Our hosts were helpful and accommodating and we had a great stay. I only wish we had more time there!
